The only thing on a slightly positive note is over a hundred Tory MPs did not vote for it, although only 13 voted against.

Imagine for a moment that someone senior at your place of work was found to have been getting paid hundreds of thousands of pounds to act on behalf of outside interests. Imagine another person was found to have sexually harassed a junior member of staff.
Now imagine if, rather than slinging them out, their mates at the company decided to exonerate them and shut down the HR department instead. I think we know what we’d call it: sleaze, a cover-up, a company not fit for purpose.
It is corruption.

They can get away with it because the Tories are brilliant at one thing - fabricating issues to keep people distracted and divided.

Here's hoping starmer pulls his head from his ass in time for the next election or the greens start having realistic policies and an electable party leader, so votes can go that way.
With a bit of luck both labour and cons have done themselves so much damage that we will move away from 2 party politics
