Papering over mist coated wall

Yes Rob, I mostly agree but sometimes you just know it needs lining and sometimes you know it's a waste of time and money.

There is one instance that happened to me and it's a staircase. They didn't want it lined first so I sized it and papered. It was one of those brittle, shiny surfaced green things (paper) and I wasn't happy.

Anyhow, it all came loose on the outside wall end and cutting a long story short, they'd had it cavity wall sealed after I'd done it and something was amiss somehow, but the cavity wall sealers, accepted responsibility for it as the rest was good :!:

Daren't tell you how long I've been papering for :(

I have another instance using Lap over contract, but I'll save that for another day ;)
