So how many people now go for the extended survey costing an arm and a leg, rather than the valuation survey just costing an arm.. and basically only telling you it is worth the money? Most don't, never mind following up on everything the survey claims it excludes. This is not going to change.
If the electrics look bad, maybe someone will think it worth having them investigated, but if they all look brand spanking new then I expect they will just be happy.
And most probably, they will be entirely correct in this evaluation of risk.
