The atheletes eat the some way I do but the difference is that they eat more mini meals & calories which mean they have to burn it off all dayI am not saying your way is wrong, I am saying that there is no 'right' way'...all these 'magic' cures do is muddy the water. Eat Several, Proportioned Meals
Athletes eat all day long to maintain their energy levels (you won’t see them eat one huge meal in the hopes of having enough energy for the day).
Can you imagine what a 10000 calorie meal would look like??

it wasn't designed at all.. but creationism / evolution argument aside, that's exactly what it's "designed" for..
eating leaves, fruits and berries as you go along looking for someting to kill..
it's all the processed foods that are causing the trouble.. the refined sugars are far to easy for the body to convert to store..
