Paste for wallpaper and lining laper

Hi,

Just looking for some basic advice on lining paper and normal wallpaper.

Planning to line the hallway due to condition of walls and wallpaper over the top of that. But, I'm confused with which wallpaper paste I need.

The final wallpaper will be paste the wall type, but the lining will be paste the paper type Erfurt 1700 grade and not sure which wallpaper paste I need to avoid things going wrong.

Preferably a solvite mix it yourself type but not sure what or which. Do I use paste the paper paste for lining the. Paste the wall on top of that for the final wallpaper application?

Packs of wallpaper paste used to have a table indicating the mixing proportions for each kind of paper.
Do they not do this anymore?

The lining paper will be fine if hung with general solvite etc

Mixing it as directed on the back of the packet is the way to go

Finished papers ....I assume that's what you are hanging again will either specify a particular tub ....or ready mixed ....paste or suggest one , on the packaging
