pat testing

hello,
could someone clarify . is a full electrical test on rental properties a legal requirement before renting like gas and epc? what about pat testing? is that also compulsory? is there a demand for this? 3 jobs a week would do me to complement my gas and plumbing jobs .thanks

Testing of the electrical installation SHOULD be done at change of occupancy or every ten years. But this needs to be done by a qualified electrician.
Theres no requirement to pat test anything.
