looking for some advice!
just moved into 1950's house terrible textured wallpaper.
have stripped this off and underneath are good quality walls which seems to have skimmed prior to this wallpaper being applied.
however on some walls is white paint which is patchy and in some places has come away and in others is lifting and scrapes away easily.
I am now left with smoothish walls with some bare plaster with patchy areas of paint, some of these areas are large and trying to strip it seems impracticle.
I don't want to repaper
does anyone have any suggestions on the best way forward
many thanks
