Pateients Waiting Up To 12 Hours For Treatment A&E - Covid Pressures

Well, she wasn't 'literally' dying then, was she? Triage worked for her as presumably patients in more of a critical need of treatment than her were triaged up the list. Then again, I suppose if you want to stretch a point, we're all 'literally' dying just by being alive! What was she literally dying of?
No matey . Nobody goes up the list or jumps a queue unless they are admitted by ambulance, or I suppose lose consciousness. When were you last in A&e?
She had Diabetic Ketoacidosis. With swelling on her brain.
You don’t need to defend the nhs to me matey. I’ve had more than my money’s worth over the years.

Not true. No matter how you arrive at A&E, you are triaged unless obviously you arrive by air ambulance or have something clearly urgent like an arm missing, a knife in your neck or something similar. Those empty ambulances that you say you saw are proof of that as they are waiting to hand over patients.

Next time I suggest you phone NHS111 - they may be able to assess over you the phone and if they decide it's urgent they can book you in the A&E and get you to near to the front of the queue.

wrong. her daughter phoned 111 and waited 2 hours for a ‘call back’ which came as I was loading her into the car.
get your head out of the sand matey.

Pull the other one. You waited two hours for a call back while someone was 'literally' dying and then waited another two and a half hours in A&E? Either you must be stupid or you think we all are?

If she was 'hauled' into hospital, she should file a charge of assault immediately.
