President-elect Donald Trump warned that if the hostages whom Hamas is still holding in Gaza are not released by his inauguration on January 20, “all hell will break out in the Middle East” – offering one more stark indication of how much the incoming president would prefer to avoid inheriting the Israel-Hamas war as he prepares to take office in less than two weeks.

I was working on the basis that Trump would have wanted to be the one to fix it as soon as he took office. To avoid giving any credit to Biden.
It will only take some breakaway militant to lob a couple of rockets into Israel to kick it all off again.

Probably because those who prefer not to be genocidal apologists can see where this is heading yet again
More to the point will the Palestinians accept a two state solution. They rejected it in 1937 (Peel commission), they rejected it in 1947 (UN resolution 181) and Yasser Arafat rejected it twice in the build up to the Oslo Accords.
And yet the Palestinians agreed to a two state solution based on the internationally recognised 1967 borders...
Could you tell us why israel has refused to agree to this and continues to expand it's illegal settlements in Palestinian land?
Would you agree that a roll back to those internationally recognised borders is the only way to get a lasting peace?
