Are you getting a good spark ?
i had a very poor spark, and changed the plug , cleaned the carb and eventually in burst into life

Spark seemed okay, even put a spark for another saw which was working fine but nothing unless all of these spark are ****ie not sure what's wrong

Thanks for the pics!
Unfortunately I have to say that I don’t think the piston, rings and barrel are in very good condition.....
Pic 4 in particular may indicate a piece of the ring missing?
I have seen worse but I suspect the engine is well down on compression which for sure will hinder starting.
Are you happy to take the cylinder off? You’ll need a TX 27 driver.
(All isn’t lost here as piston and barrel kits are available, for a fraction of the Stihl price).
John :)

John, If I have no other option, I will source one.

Will attach some link for you to check if any good on these coming days

Thanks and Enjoy Easter weekend

Only my opinion of course but I would pop the barrel off for a look see....if you are lucky you wont even need any gaskets!
Regards
John :)
