your hand doesn't half get numb holding the button in on the LPG pump though

OHH What motor is it and how many mpg do you get

thinking of going this way but been told it is doomed ?? how long is price for lpg capped for if it is at all

slogger, petrol and gas are going the same way . . . . running out! we aint gonna have either in 50 years, and both will get progressively more expensive until they die. therefore, both are doomed as a way of powering vehicles.

Yes we did , but the public couldn`t manage them and spilled loads ....talking of which ...my bike`s carb flooded @ tesco`s forecourt the other day ........I didn`t notice and there was a big puddle ( no sense of smell either..that`s why I don`t do gas work)...........so I quickly moved bike out the way and told the cashier .........were`nt at all bothered ...... ...........maybe that`s why petrol gets chucked on barbie q`s People just don`t know basic things

Some years ago, I filled up my Fiesta, just holding the handle down until the pump stopped, and it stopped at exactly ten pounds and no pence. The very next time I filled up, exactly the same thing happened. Strange, non ??

50 years? I wish. We have already passed the point of peak oil. It's just going to get worse and worse from NOW. Our economy is based on cheap endless and ever greater use of oil. Just a 10% cut in oil would send this country into a depression that made the thirties look like the good old days.

Not as long as you'd think. I seem to remember living in Leeds and working in York, and petrol was about 45p a litre, which must have been around 1993-ish.

Actually that is quite a long time now I come to think of it. My how time flies......

I usually go for whole numbers of litres....

When Im really boring I do a mental conversion back to gallons, strange how most still prefer mpg, even those growing up with metric units.

I do if they're offering 5p off per litre. But otherwise I fill up to round pounds. Yes, , I've made the mistake of looking at the litres display too. I was ********* off, because it's the first time in 21 years of driving I've EVER filled up not to a round figure.

Now that's sad!!!

Seem to remember when I started driving, petrol was round 2 quid a gallon. (40-45p/l)

I remember ( a long time ago ) when I was called "Sir" at a filling station.

Admitted I was wearing a suit but I was still a student!

It has not happened again.
