hi all,

so my pump has started acting strange (randomly stops and starts sucking water after being turned off for awhile) I have a question. Are these easy to replace yourself? If I got the same pump again, do I have to get the whole kit or can I simply cut the wires for the pump splice the new pump in and go?

Is there any something unrelated to the pump that could cause this?

Would I be better off changing the pump to a different pump entirely? (which I pressume means a lot more work involved?)

Ahh I see. I should probably add as I forgot to mention during it's "moment" of not draining water, you could hear what sounded like the pump "humming" noise that it makes normally during each drain cycle. So it was like the pump was turned on/running but just wasn't draining water. If that makes sense?

There is a fault finding section in the manual which can be downloaded if you dont have it to hand.
