Hello. Bought a cheap laptop and first thing I'm trying to do is copy pictures and videos from an android phone. It usually won't connect. When it finally did it only copied 625 out of about 3000. When I try again and it eventually recognises the phone it only adds the ones taken since the first time of copying. On one occasion it copied a couple of hundred others but they are it the wrong chronological order. Anyone got any suggestions.
Should I delete them and try again?

How are you connecting the two devices? USB, WiFi, Bluetooth, cloud service?
Usb cable.
This particular laptop can only use Google things if I get it to quit window os. Which I might do but I think not all my photos have backed up to my Google account. Cheers

That's strange. I can copy files between my Win10 laptop and my Android phone's SD card with no problems via USB.
The OS browser has limits. It's a bit like Chromebook I think. Strangely Firefox is on there already but you can't use it because it's not Windows.

I havent bothered putting an SD in as the phone has enough room for everything so far. But I suppose I could put one in now?

If you had an sd card in there you could move / copy pics to it and then access the sd card via a reader plugged into the pc etc.
