Well folks, it's that time again!

This week I have a bit of a quiz for you.

Can anyone spot what is very wrong with this installation?

The proteus is actually earthed. The wylex is not.

There is no main bonding

There is another fault IMO worse that this.

Lacks a single point of isolation is one obvious fault.

Is the heating CU picking its neutral feed from the Hagar CU?

there seems to be a red core running from "heating" CU to Hager. What's it for?

the "Heating" connections box looks as if it might be fed from the Hager as well as the "Heating" CU

No main switch

edited: bah!

No single point of isolation

BS 951 clamp on incomer

Undersize phase between Hager and Crabtree

Neutral linked between Hager and Crabtree, whereas Phase is not

Ricicle wins a gold star

The crabtree CU has its live fed direct from the henley block, yet it's neutral is fed from the load side of the hager CU.

Switching off the main switch in the hager CU stops all the heaters in the place, and they appear dead, but they have really just lost their neutral, and really remain live.

Not good.
