Stick some uvpc channel trim on the bottom, keep it dry.
2x1" planed batons locate the metal struts and avoid the cable positions
i just use no8x1x1/4" or 1x1/2 twins no pilot needed just make sure around 6mm goes into the steel
this will pin the ply lining to the side give a shelve a back support and allow your baton to screw to the ply inbetween giving both extra support
