I hope you understand this is not a chainsaw - it's a hedge trimmer designed to cut twigs and thin (up to 1 inch dia.) branches.

A pole with a chainsaw head. I saw some power line people using a long battery one to clear branches and it seemed lightweight and very easy to use.

I have tried the extended hedge cutters but had to sell it as it was too heavy and unwieldy.

A chain saw is good for cutting branches, not much use for cutting hedges. A hedge cutter is good for cutting edges, the fine stuff, no use at all for anything thicker like branches.
