We still have Interpol (real police) and we will still be a member of Europol (equivalent to those plastic bobbies you see in town centres late at night looking after the drunks) throughout the transitional period. In any case, Australia, Albania and Canada are members of Europol and they are not EU members so I can’t see why the UK wouldn’t be unless it is just down to the spite of the EU.
