Police speed traps!

had a nice little job near Basingstoke this afternoon and being in no particular rush went along the A30 from Winchester half way along there is a DVLA car sitting on the roadside as i was well within the limit and in a taxed / insured van had nothing to fear. but the funniest bit was seeing the speedsters coming along at 80 -90 MPH and on sight of the camera slamming on their brakes - shame it wasn't a speed camera!! still the DVLA/police were having a field day as they had 3 or 4 cars pulled over when i passed by in both directions

When life is not bad enough, looking for work and darting around to get it!
THEN the police and their stupid "cat and mouse" methods of getting easy money out of the motorist pop up!

They are everywhere. Hiding behind corners, just over brow of a hill on a popular route into town!! F*uck knows its not bad enough with the traffic wardens once you are in the city.
Someone is going to say "If you didn't break the speed limit". Not that easy when my van is very quick and keeping my business afloat is a priority.

Mike, completely the wrong forum to post this in as the majority of posters are Saga holiday middle lane motorway "what is the point in doing 5mph over the 30mph" Toyota Prius drivers who have big caravans parked on their small driveways and have no concept of any kind of urgency whatsoever. Either way you can't win!
