Polystyrene Coving

Anyone know the best way to remove polystyrene coving. My parrot has been nibbling it and it now looks shabby ! Time to remove I think ! :LOL: :LOL:

Will scraping it wreck the plaster on the ceiling ? Might just be a good idea to leave the parrot to it ! Heh heh. :LOL: Thanks for that useless piece of advice noseall. Heh heh !! :LOL:

No it wont damage the plaster unless you start gouging at it. Keep the scraper at a similar angle to the ceiling.
 
Polystyrene coving has to be put up with a non-solvent adhesive like No More Nails - if you have lumps of adhesive left after scraping, you could try warm water or possibly steaming.

My parrot just goes for mobile phones, TV dibbers and my fag papers!
