A slug found its way into the kitchen and we saw it scoffing some poppadum which had fallen onto the floor.

In the morning it was still there.

Dead.

You still fancy that curry tonight?

;)

We've had visiting slugs eating our cat's food. I never thought they were carnivorous!

About 2 months ago, I heard a very quiet knock at the door, so went to answer it. There didn't appear to be anyone there, but when I looked down, there was this snail looking up at me, who said in a whisper "Can I have a cigarette please? " I was so incensed, I kicked it down the garden path......
Last night , there was another very quiet knock at the door. I answered it, only to find the same snail there again. This time he said "What did you do that for?" ;) ;)

One of those gigantic white things set off a mouse trap at mine last week...you shoulda seen the mess...yuk!

Simon, why did you leave a slug eating dropped food on your floor then go to bed??

Andy

Felt sorry for it. Thought if it was so hungry that it had to break in to someone's house and snarf some soggy discarded poppadum, it was welcome to it.

Feel a bit bad.* If I'd known it was going to croak, I'd have taken its meal away and turfed it out.

* Before you all laugh, I'm the sort of guy who doesn't like killing things, even pests.

The only one I will kill is a wasp if it comes near Mrs Secure, as she has a very bad reaction to the sting. But I hate doing it.
