I started tiling my bathroom and got about 3/4 of the way through the tiling before I had to pack everything in to go on vacation with my wife (needless to say it was supposed to be done before I left). Well I think I f-ed up pretty bad because I did not clean the excess mortar away after I completed the tiling. Instead, I cleaned up the big messes and left everything else (rubber tile spacers, wooden blocks, etc) in place to dry. I just got back from the two week vacation to notice that this stuff (dried tile mortar) does not want to come off the tile (or tub). What can I use to get this stuff off of the already laid tile? bathtub? etc? Please help.

Thanks in advance.

water and a scotchbride mate, it will come off, i would have said use a scraper on the face of the tile but i dont know what type of tile you used, but even so you would have to be very careful, the scotchbride and plenty water will trake it off anyway
