Possible to replace bleed screw?

I've misplaced a radiator bleed valve screw - is it possible to get replacements?

Certainly. take one from a similar rad to a good plumers merchant.
Try not to drop it on the way...

just had a thought, how about a steel bolt as a temp measure (stop gap, literaly) and while your at it run a big magnet around the area, you may find it

they are made of brass breezer

Most of them are the same with, I think, a 1/8" BSP thread.

Easiest way in London is to take a rad key and walk the dog until you find an old rad outside a house to take the screw from.

There are a couple of screws which will make a temporary fit with a bit of silicone. Poss 4 mm or 4 BA.

Other temp is to turn off that rad at the valves and pressurise. Thats only OK if the valves dont leak!

There are three different standard sizes!

If the "containing part" of the bleed screw undoes (ie isn't welded in,) you can replace it as a whole.
