Even less so, with the 'rona restrictions
Hmm, maybe a day trip or 2 then, were only 65 miles away from the south lakes.
Last I heard, no foot passengers allowed, vehicles and m/bikes only, in order to reduce the number of passengers, and reduce the amount of time mixing with others.Come this time next year, I'll be considering a jaunt to France - if the ferries are well sorted.

Indeed.friends of mine retired there,but lived on a boat in West Indies mainly.For many the reality does not live up to the dream..my parents lived in Keswick for about 5 years, my dad's dream retirement location. They couldn't cope with the incessant weather eventually.
