This was revealed when I stripped the hallway wallpaper.

I always leave messages for others to find under my wallpaper and under floors, behind bath panels etc. I found a date and my handprints in cement I had made when I pulled a kitchen cupboard out this week. That was when the present kitchen was fitted!
