I didn't realise what a beautiful cost line the North East has. I went up there some years back to South Shields, this is where the MIL was born and really was taken aback just how fantastic on a sunny day...
I was previously there on a cold windy February Tuesday night in 1992. Visiting Roker Park. We had to fight our way to the ground. I thought it was the arse end of the world.
I plan to do a bit more exploring maybe your sort of way..

Lol...Roker is the end of the world..Druridge bay,Beadnell,Bamburgh Castle,Lindisfarne,,as fine a beach and coast line you will find anywhere.Sth shields,Whitley Bay etc, promenades vastly improved in recent years

Just a fantastic day to be out, big blue sky, no wind and warm.
Back when we had all that rain (feb ?) I would have been neck deep here - just a thought for all the poor sods that got flooded out, imagine their situation now, probably sharing houses with others, trying to self isolate and with the probable situation that absolutely sweet FA is being done to get their own houses sorted.

My back fence after I’d painted it.

Me after I’d painted my back fence using a paste brush for 'speed'. It’s a good job I was wearing a glove on my right hand to keep the paint off.
