Post the best photo you took today

Anyone know about these snails they are about 3 times the size of normal garden snails.

The shell looks right for an edible snail, but I don't think I've ever seen a raw one.

In the olden days when Romans ate snails. The snails roamed the land freely ready to be picked for lunch.

They were a pest and would eat the salad crops.

But they would never go near Caesars salad.

Caesar would never tell his followers why...

But it would not stop them from asking.... They would often say Hail Caesar....

Never been Blackpool. My grandad loved the place. He ended up moving there.
Disliked it immensely, never been back. Dirty hotels, run down, full of stag and hen do's and people who've drunk too much. Liked the beach bit though :)

When we were much younger, a good mate of mine lived there, and took it upon himself to organise another lad's stag do there.
I don't remember which place they went to; my mate reckoned it was the best place to go, but didn't allow groups.
So, they split up into twos, and spent the next half hour getting past the door security.

Eventually, they all got in, at which point my mate offered to get the first round in:mrgreen:
"20 pints of Carling, and double vodka red bull", to be told by the lad behind the bar to "Get your mates together, and leave" :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Schoolboy error :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I popped up the workshop today to check on things. Weeds have taken hold on the driveway.

A friend of mine breeds racing snails and races them against other snails. Once, he had an idea to make them go faster - he removed their shells to make them lighter but that only made them more sluggish.
