Reading the news I find it rather disconcerting that all ten former US defence secretaries (those still living) signed a letter warning against military intervention as part of Trumps assertion that he was cheated out of the election and the potential for him to invoke the Insurrection Act and deploy troops on US streets.
Trump could, under his existing powers as president, invoke the Act which would effectively be a military coup. He sure is mad enough to do it.
