Had a boiler service 2 days before Xmas. All Ok for 24 hours, then boiler began a cycle of firing up for 10 seconds and shutting back down to Pilot for 30 seconds !
Owing to the freeze w'ere going through, and my Heating engineer away until the New Year, I have let it continue.Radiators lukewarm, but better than nothing !! Any ideas to my problem ?

Could be the thermostat 'wire' is now in the wrong position, it could even be too near the main burner so detecting heat too quickly. May have been accidentally moved during the service, or when the cover was put back on.

This suggestion is grasping at straws really, but I have had this on other makes of boiler.
