Potterton Netaheat 10/16 MkFII "mind of its own"

Please help!

I have a Potterton Netaheat gas heater for the central heating in my flat, it works fine for an hour then IF it does manage to switch itself on again the pump does not work. The pipe at the top of the pump is hot but the one below is cold and the inside screw does not rotate.

I have changed the fuse in the switch for the pump which deffo works but still no luck.

Why should the heater come on for an hour in the eve and an hour in the morn only and the radiators heat up?
Why IF the heater comes on again does the pump not work?
