The case is the least of your worries.

A good boiler but one hell of a dangerous one if messed with by someone unsure of how its combustion works.

Well Ive had mine for over 20 years, the case is not that hard to refit tight and true. A well ventilated kitchen like ours means that co2 is unlikely to build up to a dangerous level

my girlfriends boiler is a potterton netaheat 1016 wich is not working theres live coming to pcb board but nothing coming out fuse ok relay operating ne ideas

Also be aware that this boiler works on switching the NEUTRAL!!
You might think you have a live coming out of everywhere but that doesnt mean the component has power to it.
Poss seized fan BTW.
