power shower question

I'm currently planning to convert my garage into a granny flat, I'm going to use the hot and cold water supply from the main house. I have a twin impellar pump in the airing cupboard in middle of the house and would like to use this to power the shower in flat, does anyone know if this will work or will it be too far away?

Depends on how far away it actually will be in pipe length terms, actual size of pipe and what type of pump it is. There isn't really a maximum distance as far as I am aware once the shower is running. The trouble may come if it's a standard pump as there may not be enough gravity flow to trigger the pump

It's a 1.5 bar Stuart Turner pump with 15mm pipes

Is it a "whole house" pump or is it currently serving one existing shower only?

it's serving 2 showers at present, might have to upgrade to a bigger pump
