This year it looks like eating Spam for Xmas dinner as a turkey is on par with gold to buy this year!

A small 10 lb fresh turkey is over £25 round here and a frozen one is not much cheaper.

Are they cheaper in your neck of the woods fellas :?:

There was a whole shed load of fresh ones here in Sussex @ a local auctioneers/market last Tuesday  I`ll take orders next year @ Xmas - bit late now

Our local Pub in the month before Xmas puts on special turkey dinners with all the trimmings for £16. You have it any day you like. However, you have to supply your own table cloth.
Then for Sunday lunch if you are an oap ( I've been looking like one for years but only just qualified) they do a very nice minny version of it for £4.25. Now that I have had 4, I need to move on to something else, so going down the super during the week to pick out something for Xmas day. As I need to lose a bit of weight I am going to have a nice ham salad. :)
