this man turned down the chance of a cash payout to keep his mouth shut

"The top civil servant in the Home Office has resigned and said he intends to claim against the government for constructive dismissal.

Sir Philip Rutnam said there had been a "vicious and orchestrated" campaign against him in Home Secretary Priti Patel's office.

Reported tensions between the pair included claims she mistreated officials - which she has denied.

The BBC's Laura Kuenssberg said Sir Philip's move was "highly unusual"."

This man has been briefing against the Govt for months with orchestrated 'leaks', I suspect he's shot himself in the foot going down the legal route, the truth will out.

He has been briefing against the government because of their disgusting lies.

He's been briefing against the govt because their plans are not aligned with his way of thinking, that's not how the civil service should work. He's been caught, he's been exposed, he's angry, that's fair enough and I can empathise to a small degree.
I welcome the legal route he's going down because the full details will emerge, as I said earlier, the truth will out.

What lies? Do you have proof he is trying to do right against wrong? Nothing to do with people having it too easy too long and not complying?
Maybe hes not used to a woman with Asian origins telling him what to do?

This woman has a track record of dishonesty and duplicity.
The only reason she got a job in government is because Boris prizes loyalty above ability.
When you have a situation were a home secretary is excluded from security briefings by her own governments security services then you know something isn't right.

Get used to saying "yes Prime Minister" or else you are out.

Good ole Tory (Trump clone) dictators.(y)

A claim that has since been debunked by MI5, I wonder who briefed the press on that falsehood?
