I wish I had been there to cheer the wardens on.
Speaking as a father of a disabled son, people like you really get my back up, what with your fake or borrowed badges.
Hopefully you will not have to use one of these spaces legitimately, but if that day comes you will soon change your mind about the lazy and idle pi**ocks who use these spaces under false pretext.
In the meantime pay up and stop whinging and thank god you are able to walk.

Im also against parking in disabled spaces, someone that genuinly finds it difficult to get about SHOULD be able to park near shops etc. BUT, heres what I dont like - 10 disabled spots and 12 undisabled spots - with usually about 3-4 of the disabled ones filled, and all the others of course full.
I also dislike people that nip out in their disabled friends car, or are not disabled (or appear not to be) enough to IMO be allowed to park in the aforementioned spaces.
and most of all, i HATE disabled parking in undisabled spaces leaving disabled spaces empty! they should be given a ticket too.
I will add, that having a disability must be hard, and I'm all for looking after people that need a little help, but once again its the minority that take the **** that bugger it up.

Well, there are good and bad people on both sides of the fence anobium.

One day, in my local Sainsbury's car park, I was walking past a disabled parking slot as a car pulled in without any badge on display. I stopped and stared, then the driver scowled at me and put a badge on the dashboard, so I nodded an acknowledgment and walked on.

Five minutes later, in the fruit and veg section, the driver accosted me, quaking with anger, demanding to know why I'd stared at him. I explained that I was acting in the interests of disabled people such as him by seeking to ensure that he had a valid badge. He gave me a mouthful of abuse and stomped off.

Clearly, IMHO, I did the right thing, and I'd do the same again, but it's not as though all able-bodied people are evil and all disabled people are saints.
