Its a fair point, maybe black people are key voters in America and Pro Palestinian supporters are not
Why are Israeli Jews protesting against the illegal Zionist war crimes while you sit at home, comfortably complicit in the genocide?

Biden's comments about protests and the law were interesting. Law aspects taken as stated means they can quash any demo they like as all forms would break one of the laws. Is there a way in the US. I don't know.
TBH if people are allowed to express their views our system on protests is way way better. Ok they cause some grief but if people behave sensibly which they often do other than inconveniencing others they are fine.
Protests in our Uni's - they may well get broken up. Bit different to marches.
I wonder if our system is down to the past Eg union meeting broken up viciously by the police even using horse charges. Then there is the fractures skull issue i mentioned and other injured people.

It's of interest to see how quickly these protests have become polarised along partisan faultlines in the political landscape. The UK election may not be so bad but just wait til the American elections kicks into gear.

Some people can't get their head around what the protests are about. Andy is one of them.
One aspect is obvious. The other is historic factors. Both attract people.
Actually there is yet another - international law which clearly is being broken.

Its not just Hamas thoguh is it. Did you miss the interview with the last Israeli woman kidnapped for the Peace Festival? She was kidnapped by Gazan's and then sold to Hamas when they took her back to Gaza along with the baying crowds supporting the atrocities. Are they all Hamas?
What about all the other Iran sponsored terrorists as well? Islamic Jhid, Hezbollah just to start and you don't think Jews don't have the right to defend themselves when a whole population declared war on them.
