Many of the "protestors" are unpleasant and dangerous thugs; a lot of them are foreigners - which makes their behaviour even more outrageous since they are guests here; and they have been engaging in violence, vandalism, a breach of the peace on a mass scale, and intimidation towards politicians.
This has been going on for months on end and it can only be viewed now as the hijacking of our democracy on behalf of foreign powers - hostile ones in the case of Iran.
The average person is sick and tired of it. It is on the news every bloody day. It causes disorder and puts people off visiting London. This is a minority political cause, aided by left wing extremists. Most of us don't care and are not going to care - ever - about this far away conflict we can have no realistic influence upon. The government shouldn't be supporting either side, although I imagine most people would support Israel over Iran, which is what this is really all about.
What is also absolutely obvious is that the police have taken a very light touch approach to these demonstrations and made every excuse not to act where the law has been repeatedly broken. We then see two tier policing in effect when they then act aggressively and arrest others, whether individuals or groups, e.g. native people carrying the national flag or Jews daring to be present on the street.
These horrible pro Palestinian protestors have thoroughly abused the concept of peaceful and lawful protest at this point and have long since damaged their cause and lost sympathy from the ordinary observer.
