 Help needed quick! Trying to replace downstairs toilet. If poss we want a back to wall toilet incorporating cabinet unit. We've looked at the possible options but now have a problem with the current position of the soil pipe which comes out of the floor 200mm away from the wall. With these back to wall units the ideal standard one is 210mm from wall and when the toilet is put against the cabinet we have a problem connecting the pan to the soil pipe. We've been to local supplier who showed us a "question mark" shaped pipe for the connection but even so this still leaves us 50mm further out. This would mean that the pan would not be flush with the cabinet ie. a 50mm gap. Do we have to move the soil pipe which is in a solid concrete floor? and if so can this be done and how much of a job is it?
Or does somebody have another idea please!

That`s a bastard job you`ve got there  seriously I would consider lining the wall behind the unit 50mm or whatever.Out from the existing wall .then you could get it true and upright behind the unit and a covering of plasterboard or waterproof tiling board ....I would do all this in preference to digging out and re laying a drain thru concrete...got the T shirt years ago ;)

:) Thanks mate, just about exhausted every possibility and yours is the best so I think we'll stick with that.
