One last, probably silly, question is that I keep getting the message “additional code required” when I enter the engineers code. The master code doesn’t always seem to clear this, so what is the correct procedure?

If I remember you need to go into option 48 ent manager code exit out then ent engineer code .

You can also assign a hash # to the engineers code to enable access any time. This way, the first entry of the engineers code generates a tamper that is then silenced by entering the engineers code a second time.

This is useful in the event that the master user is not available when you come to maintain the system.
