Hi,
My Pulsacoil 2000 in an apartment in Birmingham needs replacing. Its now 15 years old. My tenants have been topping the cold tank up several times a year the last 2-3 years. I checked and it looks wet and rusty at the bottom of the cylinder
Replacement has to be another Open vented thermal store cylinder as its placed in centre of the flat and not allowed any venting into soil stack etc and with two immersion heaters for economy 7 peak and off-peak.
The ones i have researched so far are:
Anyone know which electric thermal store cylinder would be the better one? I understand first one still has an external heat exchanger, pump and PCB and the last two are simpler systems with everything internal within the cylinder.

The ones i have researched so far are:
- Pulsacoil Eco Stainless 180 litres - this is a direct replacement for my existing one
- Advanced Appliances - https://www.advanceappliances.co.uk/product/153-electric-thermal-store-hot-water-only/
- Fabdec ThermaCoil 175L - https://pulsacoil.com/thermacoil
