pump by pass

Hi chaps my sisters system been playing up agian. She has had a water leak from the pressure valve, on the ch pump by pass.
Iv drained it, removed the faulty valve ,and put a gate valve in place.
Problem iv got is i cant get the system to fill back up agian heating side.
Iv been in the loft to check the tank and looks ok. Any ideas or sugestions would be welcome

you could have a blocked feed from f/e tank.They normally get blocked at the tee where cold feed meets heating pipe.Only way to get over this is cut blocked tee out and fit new one pete

Could be blockage in the cold fill where it joins the system pipe work.

Turn off cold feed gate valve, undo bottom nut on gate valve, put bucket under it and open. If water flows freely then could be a blockage.

You will need to cut out pipe work around T and replace

ok so how do i trace what pipe is what

It will be the 15mm pipe that comes from the bottom of the F&E tank and the blockage will be where this t's into the heating pipe work
