hi i have had a new front door fitted, guys refitted door contact in same position as old door.
I now have the amber alert triangle illuminated and when i try to set alarm internal sounder rings. Any help would be appreciated in removing amber alert triangle on top left of keypad.
thanks in advance

hi handyman it is the original door contact, nothing has changed , just wondering if the door fitter has damaged the contact?

thanks for your replies, more investigating tomorrow, me thinks

Door contact could be fitted wrong way round.
There is a little Mark on side of contact where the magnet should line up.
Is the magnet lose enough to the contact ? That's why I wanted photo .

i will definitely look into the contact , i could see the faint blue glow, and held magnet to the contact to see if that would cure the fault.

What does it say in the display when trying to set.
Have you changed any batteries before ?
Control panel could be engineer reset on tamper.
Rear back tamper lug could be broken on contact.

i will try engineer reset tomorrow D1111 if i am right, i thought tamper light would be illuminated

Just tell us what it says in the display before you start going into engineer mode..
You could make things worse.
When you ask for advise and we ask questions it makes it easier with the more information we have to answer your question..

I would go D enter your code , go to view log , see what it says in log ...press A at event for more info
