Pyronix door sensor. Exit, final exit timer and detection doesn't work. Tried relearning.

Take the cover off , take the pcb out , post picture of backplate on the door and the pcb , front and back

The blue light does come on and off as I open and close door . But it's the setting when I configure as final exit / or 10 - zone er, I don't get the timed exit countdown and the alarm goes off, saying tamper on front door

Rear back tamper plate broken .
You need a new plastic case to solve your tamper fault.
You need to be very careful when fitting the screw as this has damaged the back plate.

Ah cos I had a new door fitted
It was moved. So it's the back plate completely which needs replacing ? That screws onto the wall.

You will probably need a complete new contact,as you may not be able to purchase a empty case.

You know which model it is or anything similar cheaper I could use ? I got it as part of the original set . I've checked eBay some different models are available as door sensors

In the meantime is it possible to sensor the alarm without the door sensor

Will set the door sensor to unused for now
But not sure how exit will work

Who took the sensor off ? this is why I asked for picture as I get this all the time with door fitters and it ends in a charge to the company fitting the door …

Door installer. Yeh it's too late now as I have t really had need to use the alarm as been working from home etc irs been over a year
