Pyronix Enforcer Alarm

Guys, thanks so much.

Ran the walk test, and the front door didn’t work. Took the cover off, removed and replaced cover, and it’s now working!

Suspect iffy sensor? If battery at fault (new a few months ago), it would throw up a fault I guess?

Might purchase a contact and look for a guide to add it to my system......?

Still my wife’s fault as she was the last one to open the door.....

Cheers

Likely faulty sensor you could run a battery check in the diagnostics menu just to make sure it isn’t borderline

if you get a door contact we can talk you through it.

I take it the door contact is fitted correctly ie no big gap between parts when door is closed?

it is only a magnet And reed switch at end of the day

you can attach photos by copy and paste into your post
Appreciated.

Ran a battery load test and it passed - assuming this was the correct test!

I think the door contact could benefit from a spacer - perhaps it was borderline and the door has moved a bit???

Door would be open circuit if that was the case giving broken exit tone rather than continuous, sounds like the reed switch is sticking. Would definately replace. Would just make then entry pir final exit for time being and leave exit mode as timed

Hard to say without seeing the job mate but it could be as simple as that.

Personally id want to exhaust all that before forking 40 or 50 quid out on a new contact

Right, so that didn’t last long. Cannot set this evening again! Front door sensor does seem to be the culprit? Starts working again after a few taps.

Easy to set up a replacement as a mirror of the current one?

Many thanks

Save old casing for spares and repairs
Can you not fit magnet on side of door to give you a better connection between contact and magnet.

Yup if you get a new one we can guide you through

I think I'll order one. A big ask I know, but would you be able to list out the steps to remove the faulty one from the system and add the new one, so it works exactly as the old one?

Really appreciate your support with this!

Thanks

Wireless device input
Control input yes
Scroll down to delete device
Select zone input you want to delete
You can then relearn new device into that input.
Make sure you DO NOT select delete all

Thanks again! So, I fitted a spacer, as I had convinced myself moving more in line make it work, when in reality I think pushing it closer just released the switch which I assume is playing up! So a new sensor is on its way.

I have made step by step instructions below - do they look correct? Do I just delete the switch, disable it, or both? It seems that if I do this right the device setting remains available meaning that I can learn the new switch into the same position and settings...?

Cheers

Looks good, although u wont have to disable the input if you are installing the new one at same time as u delete the old one. Will just need to delete, and learn new one on in its place

Thanks everyone. Just to conclude, I fitted the replacement contact today, and programmed it as above. All seems to be working for the moment!

Thanks so much.
