Fair enough. One problem obviously is that although the installer (company) may well be reputable, that is not a guarantee that their employees will always be competent (or necessarily even sensible!) in what they do.

It's a pain that now I'll have to double check their work and interrogate as to what breaker they're going to use, is it bi directional etc. I'm told that many still aren't using these which seem important for pv, battery.
I've garnered from electrician videos on YouTube that this is often an area when opinion, knowledge and regs collide.
