The other day I needed to go to Accident & Emergency.

Not wanting to sit there for 4 hours, I put on my blue suit and stuck a badge that I had downloaded off the Internet onto the front of my jacket.

When I went into A & E, I noticed that 3/4 of the people
got up and left. I guess they decided that they weren't that sick after all.

Cut at least 3 hours off my waiting time.

Here's the badge. Feel free to use it the next time you're in need of faster emergency service.

It also works at the DSS. It saved me 5 hours.

At the Laundry, three minutes after entering, I had my choice of any machine, most still running.

Don't try it at McDonald's though....
The whole crew got up and left and l never

did get my order.

I think Xenophobic is more accurate than racist.

The joke relies on the teller and the audience sharing the opinion that public service users are predominantly illegal immigrants and dishonest scroungers.

In my A&E it's mostly tanked-up local white boys who have got into fights, fallen over drunk, or kicked each other playing football.

for general information, i have been in a&e twice this year, both ralating to a serious work related injury - both were times when england were playing in the world cup, one a weekday and the other a sunday - the waiting time? seen straight away by the nurse and within a couple of minutes by the doctor. i highly recommend having major accidents when england are playing as no one else seems to have an injury more important than watching england lose at football........
