Did you know that the QWERTY keyboard was originally unergonomically designed to stop people typing too fast and the typewriter printing head things all jamming up together at the top.

No reason to still use it in the computer age, and we'd be quicker if we didn't, but we just don't seem able to let it go...

Another annoying thing is that in different countries, its different. For example, in France, the top row reads AZERTY... which means that every time I use someones computer in france for webmail, I start tapping away and then look at the screen to see a load of nonsense (bit like on a QWERTY, some may say).
