Yes, 38 metres or 125ft in old money.125 feet. The way I was taught braking distance is 5x50/2 at 50mph which is 125 feet. (3x30/2 for 30 mph, 6x60/2 at 60mph etc). The thinking distance is the same in feet as speed in mph so 50 feet. Total stopping distance at 50 mph would be 175 feet.
