an interesting conversation! Put me down for around about 10 of these radical rads when you get them off the ground.
The radiators in question (3 of them) are boxed in on 3 sides, top, and both sides, with a space of about 1.5cm above, and about 6 cm to each side (plenty of space for valves) and when spring comes, TRVs.
So, is the general conscencus that this is good or not - we have metal reflective sheets on the back of each radiator, however the underneath of the drylining above the radiator does seem to be retaining a fair bit of heat.
What I have considered, is if the dry lining is to stop, putting some polystyrene covered in metal (as sold at B&Q) on the top surface to help the heat be deflected - any thoughts on whether this would be beneficial?
