my central heating is playing up; when we have it set for hot water heat only the radiators are also heating up. There are 2 2-port motorised valves one on the pipe leading to the hot water tank and the other below the pump( presumably leading to the radiators). Please can somebody advise will it be one of these valves not working, if so which one and can it be repaired in situ, or what is the procedure for replacing (valves are Invensys, lifestyle). Thanks to whoever responds

Fairly simple If you arent scared of lots of wires.....
You would need to drain down your full heating system,
change over the valve(which is just 2 nuts),
replace wiring into junction box which can sumtimes be tricky if it is in an awark area.( the wires are mostly like for like) but you have to watch out that you dont take wires out from connectors and forget to put them in or put them in wrong connector!
