Hi,
I have a problem with a roof where the gutter has been laid horizontally on lead only covering the outer skin of the cavity wall.
Consequently some rain is driven under the gutter and into the cavity. where the gutter is horizontal, there is no adequate run off to the downpipe and pools accumulate in the gutter.
Also, the the lead has been perforated in an attempt to secure the guttering.
The difficulty with this property is that the neighbouring property is very close and the distance between the facing walls is only 18" to 2' along the length of the building.
I will try and upload some photos but this will need to wait until the weekend.
Is it possibly to finish this flank of the roof with traditional facial and guttering or or can it made made watertight in any other way.?
Is their an "industry standard" method for this type of finish?
Thanks
Mark
